Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

Our organization is established in 1992 and providing services in the field of Environmental Engineering and Software Development. We have prepared Environmental Audit Reports under the Environment Act 1986 and conducted ambient air monitoring, noise control studies for reputed companies. Also, we have developed software in the field of Environmental Engineering for Design of Sewage Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Sewerage System and Advanced Wastewater Treatment. Off late, we are getting lot of requests for conducting Environmental Impact Analysis studies. This is particularly after the Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. Of India has amended the EIA notification dated 27.01.1994 on 7th July 2004 and inserted additional entries in Schedule-I as under:

As per the amended notification, new townships, industrial townships, settlement colonies, commercial complexes, hotel complexes, hospitals and office complexes for 1000 (One Thousand) person or more or discharging sewage of 50,000 (Fifty Thousand) liters per day or more or with an investment of (Rupees Fifty Crores) Rs. 50,00,00,000 or more shall be required to obtain environment clearance from the ministry of environment & Forests, Govt. of India.
It is further provided that : New Construction projects which were undertaken without obtaining the clearance
New Construction projects which were undertaken without obtaining the clearance required under this notification, and where construction work has not come up to the plinth level, shall require clearance under this notification with effect from the 7th day of July 2004. Any project proponent intending to implant the proposed project mentioned above in phased manner or in modules, shall be required to submit the details of modules for appraisal under this notification.
The projects mentioned above have to obtain consent to establish from the Maharashtra Pllution Control Board and Environment Clearance from the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. Of India, as per the provisions of the amended EIA Notification. Non compliance or violation of any of the above mentioned provisions is the offence punishable under section 15 of the Environment (Protection) act, 1986.
As our work so far is in the related areas we have decided to undertake such studies. Any EIA involves the Process Flow Chart enclosed. EIA requires a team of experts from Interdisciplinary areas. Our staff is having the background in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chemistry etc. In addition, reputed experts in the field who have carried out such studies in the past will be involved. Consent letter and bio-data of such experts are enclosed. Apart from preparation of EIA report, the work also involves liaison work with MPCB, MOEF, attending the public hearing etc.
