The firm Prachi Services has been in operation since 1992. The founders started offering services in Environmental Engineering such as Environmental Audit,  Environmental Monitoring, Wastewater Treatment etc. From 1998, the company started developing software in the field of wastewater treatment. Initially, the software for the design of effluent treatment plant was offered free. However, the requests started pouring in for the commercial offer for this product. The first product Software for the Design of Effluent Treatment Plant ETPSOFT01 was launched in November 2001 at World Trade Centre, Mumbai, India. Since then the company has also launched products such as Software for the Design of Water Treatment Plant WTPSOFT02, Advanced Wastewater Treatment ADTREATSOFT02 and Sewerage System SEWERSOFT02. The company also offers training programs in the field of Water and Wastewater Treatment and Environmental Management.
